"Cheese Straws, Two Ways" on the Make and Takes Blog!

Hello again!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday filled with family and friends, good cheer, and great food.  I can't believe that today is the end of the holiday season!  It seems like it only just started, but now, we're technically just around the corner from spring (or at least I hope we are!).  And with that, it's time to ring in the New Year! This year has been a great year for Ambrosia.  I feel like I have grown as a blogger, as a writer, as a baker, and as a photographer.  While there's still so much more for me to learn, I definitely feel a million times more confident in my ability to take recipes and make them my own, and I feel like I'm beginning to understand the perspective through which I like to cook, or at least the direction I aspire to cook in.  My photography has improved considerably (at least I think so!), and I'm quickly realizing that food photography has the potential to become something more than a hobby.  I really love it, and I would just love to learn more about the craft. 2013 had some great things in store for Ambrosia, and I'm sure that 2014 will be even bigger and better.  I can't wait!  In the meantime though, we have just one more recipe to discuss, because I'm sure all of you have some kind of plan for New Year's Eve tonight, right?
